ELECTRO-MECHANICAL CLOSERS LCN

LCN Sentronic Applications

This floor plan of a health care facility shows typical doorways controlled by Sentronic Closer/Holders.

Doorway 1:
Double egress doors. Push Side mounted 4110-SED and 4110SEC recommended. SED detector simultaneously releases both hold-open units when particle of combustions are present. When ceiling dectors are specified, 4110-SE can be used on both doors.

Doorway 2:
Single patient room door controlled by a 4310-MED. Door closes automatically when built-in detector senses particles of combustion. Door will hold-open at any position up to 160 degree opening. When ceiling detectors are specified, use 4310-ME. * Swing Free Arm is standard and ideal for this type of patient room door. Specify 4310 ME-SF, or 4310 MED-SF.

* May be required by local codes

Single Point - Will hold door open in 1 position

SED - Single Point Electronic with Detector
SED - Single Point Electronic without Detector
(Companion Unit)
SE- Single Point Electronic without Detector

Doorway 3:
Single office door controlled by a 4010 SED. Door closes automatically when built-in detector senses particles of combustion. Door will hold-open at a selected position from 85 degree to 110 degree.

Doorway 4:
A pair of doors, 4310-MED and 4310-MEC selected for 160 degree hold-open. When MED built-in detector senses particles of combustion, hold open mechanisms in MED and MEC are released simultaneously permitting doors to close. When ceiling detectors are specified 4310-ME can be used on both doors. Double lever arm models for extra latching power would mount on opposite side of opening.

Multi-Point - Will hold door open in any position.

MED-Multi-Point Electronic with Detector
MEC-Multi Point Electronic without Detector
(Companion Unit)
ME - Point Electronic without Detector
