7200 Series Multi-Point Hold Open

Electro/Mechanical Closer/Holder Releasing Device Combines electromechanical door holder with 7700 Series door closer. Closer available with two types of hold-open:

1. Infinate Hold Open: Allows the door to be held open at any point from 0º up to 175º.
2. Selective Hold Open: Allows the door to be held open from beyond a preset hold-open point, to 175º.

Maximum allowable door opening to 180º.

U.L. Listed: 7200MPD with or without 7200MPS is listed for application on labeled fire/smoke doors. 7200MP and MPT listed for application with any compatible labeled or listed fire and smoke detection equipment.

Fail Safe: Solenoid will de-energize. Closer/Holder will operate as a normal door closer.
Wiring Options: Accommodates either surface or concealed wiring.

Units with Integral Smoke Detectors Features:

• Dual chamber loniztion sensing.
• Trouble (relay) contacts.
• Alarm (relay) contacts.

7700/8000 Power Track Series Single Point Hold Open

Norton 7700/Series and 8000/Series Power Track Electromechanical Closer-Holders are available with a choice of door closer controls and a variety of options. Use the following outline to select the correct List Number for the Power Track Closer-Holder you require.

Closer / Holder Releasing Device

Track closer designed to hold a corridor door in the open position until closer is released manually or by a fire alarm system. Power holds door at the selected single hold open point. Interruption releases arm slide and door closes. Release manually by pushing towards closed direction.

Closer mounted on door. Power Track mounted on frame face or frame soffit and is non-handed for most applications. Single point hold open selectable by adjusting telescoping arm. Hold open range is 85º - 110º.
