Thresholds
The saddle type is the simplest of all. Heights may vary from 1/4" to 3/4" and the width may be as much as 7" when formed from a single extrusion. The final choice will depend on the specific frame detail, still condition and clearance under the door. Thresholds should not exceed 1/2" in height for handicap accessible entrances.
Unless otherwise specified, all thresholds are drilled on
center line.
Extruded bronze (brass) thresholds are supplied with solid brass
screws.
For corrosive environments, stainless steel screws are available
at extra cost. Specify when ordering.
Shown are various thresholds that are approved for handicapped
use.
To order the correct item, you will need to measure the width of
the opening by the length of the opening.
