How to identify closer body
The number of the closer 8,9,10,12,15, or 16 is stamped on the top of the case next to spindle.

G28 Center Hung Floor closer

H28 Heavy Duty Center Hung Floor Closer

  • Extra heavy doors.
  • Identical to Model 28 except H28 has cast iron cement case.
  • Weight up to 1000 lbs. (formerly L28)
  • Bottom arm features anti-friction bearing for greater load capacity.
  • Minimum door thickness is 2".

Available Non-Hold Open (NHO), Automatic Hold-Open (AHO) or Selective Hold Open (SHO) at 85, 90, 95, or 105°.

For 1-3/4" thick doors specify 587 arm (side load). Standard top pivot H340 included.

How to identify a 30 or 40 Closer
The number of closre (30 or 40) is stamped on the top of case next to the spindle.

50/51 series floor closers are designed for use in shallow slab (2") floors or where steel decking and other obstructions prevent the user of traditional floor closer
