Top Pivots
Top pivos are an integral part of floor closer or pivot set packages. They are available 3/4" offset 1-1/2" offset or center hung. Offset hung top pivots are single acting, center hung and double acting unless stopped by some means on the door or frame. Top pivots can be ordered individually as parts.

320 Center Hung Top Pivot

  • Non-handed
  • Standard top pivot for 8, 9, 10, 12, 15 and 16 series duo floor closers.
  • Walking beam type pivot 1/2" dia. pivot pin with 3/4" engagement.

    Finishes: 3, 10, 10B, 26, 26D

340 Center Hung Top Pivot

  • Non-handed
  • 340 is the standard top pivot for 28, 30, 40 series closers
  • Walking beam type pivot 1/2" dia. pivot pin with 3/4" engagement.

    Finishes: 3, 10, 10B, 26, 26D

H340 Center Hung Top Piovt

  • Non-handed
  • H340 is the standard top pivot for H28, and H40 Series closers.
  • Walking beam type pivot 11/16" dia. pivot pin with 3/4" engagement.
  • Heavy duty needle bearing.

    Finishes: 3, 10, 10B, 26, 26D

E-H340 Center Hung Electric Top Pivot

  • Product features and options identical to Model H340.
  • Available with four wires 22 gauge. Standard 2 wire.
  • Wires are stranded and color coded for easy installation.
  • Used for Class II wiring applications.

    Finishes: 3, 10, 10B, 26, 26D

180 Full Mortise Offset Top Pivot

  • Non-handed for 3/4 offset, Handed for 1 1/2 offset
  • Standard top pivot for most offset floor closers and pivot sets.

    Finishes: 3, 10, 10B, 26, 26D

H180 Heavy Duty Full Mortise Offset Top Pivot

  • On-handed for 3/4 offset.
  • Standard top pivot for H series offset hung closers.
  • Heavy duty needle bearings are standard.

L180 Full Mortise Offset Top Pivot for Lead Lined Doors

  • Non-handed for 3/4 offset.
  • Standard top pivot L series offset hung closers.
  • Standard Door Thickness 1-3/4".
  • 2-1/4", 2-1/2", 3" available.

    Finishes: 3, 10, 10B, 26, 26D

280 Half Surface Top Pivot

  • Where top pivot door portion cannot be mortised.
  • Handed 3/4" offset only.
  • For fire rated prefix item with "F"

380 Half Mortise Top Pivot

  • Where jamb portion cannot be mortised.
  • Handed 3/4" offset only.
  • For fire rated prefix item with "F"

480 Full Surface Top Pivot

  • Where door portion and jamb portion cannot be mortised designed for channel iron door frames and any door where thru bolting is advantageous.
